A world-weary man steps off a train. On the street, he accidentally meets a former schoolteacher named Manesquier. They are completely different, yet united by a shared longing—to live not their own life, but someone else’s. The thief dreams of peace and domestic comfort, while the outwardly respectable Manesquier, tired of routine, craves risk and adventure. They have only three days to discover what they truly want and make their choice.
