When a mysterious artifact is unearthed during the construction of a new residential district, engineer Wada’s wife and son suddenly vanish without a trace. His search leads him into a strange forest outside of time, where shrine maidens worship Otokogami — the “Hungry God,” an ancient deity once appeased through the sacrifice of young boys. To save his family, Wada must enter a world of forgotten rituals from which there may be no return…
