Kabul, August 2021. As the Taliban advance and Western forces prepare to evacuate, the city plunges into chaos. The Nazany family faces impossible choices: Zahara, a fearless prosecutor, refuses to abandon her work; Amina, an aspiring surgeon, remains at the hospital; Fazal, an army officer, guards a key checkpoint. Only their father, Baqir, urges them to flee. Amid panicked crowds, diplomats and soldiers from France, Italy, Germany, and the U.S. struggle to save lives, while ISIS plots a deadly attack. Scattered across the city, the Nazanys must reunite, escape, and survive.
