In the picturesque harbor of Marseille, a father and son run a small bar. Marius, the son, does not share his father’s devotion to the family business—he dreams of leaving his home shores to seek adventure.
A sweet young woman who works at the local market has long been secretly in love with Marius. Unexpectedly, she receives a marriage proposal from an old friend of his father, and Marius is faced with a difficult choice: follow the call of his heart or his yearning for freedom and the unknown.
