About film
The film is based on true events. A German naval officer was killed in occupied Paris. Four young French idealists come under suspicion. They are arrested, subjected to brutal torture, and sentenced to death by guillotine by a special panel of judges — cowardly men who unquestioningly serve the interests of the regime.
